VineTrack was created by Jonathan Hambrook, owner and vigneron at Stockman's Ridge Wines in Orange, NSW, bringing more than 25 years in IT and more than 24 years in viticulture together.
THE STORY
Technology and viticulture, brought together.
Vineyard information was spread across notebooks, spreadsheets, messages, photos, maps and memory. VineTrack began with a practical idea: capture vineyard activity where the work happens, then make those records useful in the office.
The mobile app supports work in the field. The web portal supports management, reporting and oversight. Together, they create one clearer vineyard record.

VineTrack was built to make vineyard management simpler - helping owners, managers and operators capture what is happening in the field quickly, find it again easily, and turn observations into action.
At its core, VineTrack is built around E-L growth stages and the context of each vintage. Rather than relying only on calendar dates, vineyard observations, growth, sprays and operations can be understood in relation to where the vine is in its development and the season in which the work occurred.
From Quick Actions for repairs and growth observations, through vineyard tasks, tractor work, maintenance and seasonal spray programs, VineTrack is designed to keep everyday vineyard work connected. Operators can quickly select the work they need to perform, calculate what is required and record what happened while they are still in the vineyard.
Over time, that creates a valuable history of each vineyard and vintage. Helping growers observe, act, manage, record and learn.
The modified E-L system is the international standard for describing grapevine growth. VineTrack is built around these stages, so every observation, spray and operation is understood in relation to where the vine is in its development.
